What is position tracking?
Position tracking shows where your website ranks in search results for a set of keywords, and tracks how those positions change over time. This tool tracks both classic Google rankings (the blue links plus the AI Overview box) and your visibility inside AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.
How is AI Rank different from Google SERP tracking?
Google SERP tracking checks the live results page for each keyword. AI Rank turns each keyword into a natural question, asks the four major AI assistants, and records whether they cite your site, where in the answer, and which URLs they trust instead. As more searches happen inside chatbots, AI Rank shows whether you are part of those answers.
Do I need to enter keywords?
No. Enter just a URL and the tool reads your page and generates relevant, non-branded keywords automatically. You can edit, remove or add keywords in the review step before you save the campaign. You can also paste your own comma-separated keywords to skip generation.
How many keywords and campaigns can I track?
Free accounts can save one campaign with up to 10 keywords. Paid plans can save up to 20 campaigns and share a 500-keyword pool with the rank-tracking system. AI Rank is a paid feature.
What does a run cost?
A SERP run is a flat 150 credits regardless of how many keywords are in the campaign. An AI Rank run is a flat 450 credits (paid plans only). Generating keywords and saving a campaign are free — you only pay when you run the tracking.
Are the AI answers real?
Yes. AI Rank queries the live ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity models and stores their full answers and citations — no simulations or guesses. If an engine is briefly unavailable the run degrades gracefully and your credits are refunded when nothing usable comes back.
